This big double IPA is saturated in bold hops, striking a balance between tropical, citrusy, and dank components. Notes of pink guava, lychee, grapefruit pith, and pear are complemented by a pleasantly earthy and resinous pine. A simple grain bill of pilsner with malted and flaked wheat lays base notes of crackers and bread crust, allowing the layered hop profile to take center stage. Medium-light bodied with an assertive, rounded bitterness lingering through the finish.
